It’s all change at the top of the singles chart this week as Sean Kingston gets dethroned by the return of the Sugababes, and Shayne Ward makes a surprise appearance at the number two spot.

1. Sugababes - About You Now: Surprise entry from the ‘babes
2. Shayne Ward - No U Hang Up: Who’d have thought Shan-ye Ward would have seen this side of the top 10 ever again?
3. 50 Cent - Ayo Technology: Fitty and the boys are holding on to chart supremacy without an awful lot of effort. Somebody out there loves ya Fitty.
4. Sean Kingston - Beautiful Girls: Sean’s been knocked off the top spot and ended up halfway down the top 10. We reckon he’ll stick around here for a couple of weeks yet.
5. Ida Corr v Fedde Le Grand - Let Me Think About It:
6. Plain White T’s - Hey There Delilah: Time for a new single from the T’s? A bit like Scouting For Girls below, these new bands need to capitalize on their success by releasing some new material on the strength of these initial hits.
7. Kanye West - Stronger: On the slow descent from the chart….
8. James Blunt - 1973: Still haven’t heard this too much on the radio. Has anyone even seen a video for it yet?
9. Scouting For Girls - She’s So Lovely: Dropping a couple of places, Scouting For Girls haven’t wasted much time in releasing their album. Seems a bit premature, try releasing a few singles first boys.
10. Rihanna - Shut Up And Drive: Uh-oh, looks like Rihanna could be heading out of the top 10 after this week. Looks like Shut Up And Drive doesn’t have the same staying power as Umbrella.

Notably missing, the Foo Fighters only got a peek into the chart last week and disappeared again very suddenly. Now, with a number of other acts on the slippery slope, next week’s chart could be a very different scene altogether…
