The Proclaimers have managed to score a hat trick, and have remained in the number one spot of the UK Singles Chart for the third week running.

The Scottish twins teamed up with comics Peter Kay and Matt Lucas to re-record the (I’m Gonna Be) 500 Miles for Comic Relief.

I can’t actually hear this song anymore without thinking of the X factor’s most boring duo, The MacDonald Brothers…it kind of spoils the song for me!
