Take That admitted to GMTV this morning they’d ‘like’ Robbie Williams to rejoin the band.

Asked by Kate Garraway whether there’s any chance of Robbie working with the boys again, Howard Donald said: “You never know, I think we’d like to but at the moment we’ve got a tour next year – and at the moment he’s not a part of them plans, but you just never know when he’s going to pop out of that box.”

Gary Barlow revealed the whole band have become closer to Robbie over the last year – hinting it felt like old times when they’re together: “This year especially, I think we’ve got back into Rob’s life a little bit, and it’s been really nice getting to know him again. And it actually feels like no time’s elapsed at all when we’re all together.”

Gary also revealed he thinks Alexandra should win this year’s X Factor – calling her brilliant. “I think it could be anybody at this point… but Alexandra for me,” said Gary.
