Take That have been asked to perform their Oscar-tipped song, ‘Rule The World’ at the first ever National Movie Awards ceremony.

The band wrote the song for new flick Stardust, which stars ROBERT DE NIRO, MICHELLE PFEIFFER and SIENNA MILLER.

The Movie Awards will take place London’s Royal Festival Hall on September the 28th and will be aired on ITV1 the next night.

A Take That spokesman said: “The band are really excited because they have never played in front of an audience like that before.”
