Hi! Thanks for visiting Unreality Music! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed for regular updates.
Of all the stupid things a potential parent might say, comparing having a child to making a record is about as idiotic as it gets. According to NME, the Fall Out Boy bass-spanker (rhymes with something else appropriate, huh?) has said it’s “like making a record, but knowing you’re going to mix it for the next 18 years of your life.”
Yeah, Pete, come back and speak to us when you’ve spent a few years changing nappies. Having a child is nothing like making a record, you naive fool. We wish the guy all the best with his new baby, but it’s obvious Wentz has absolutely no frame of reference for something this big and is struggling to relate it to something he understands.

Of the funnier news reports today, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris has declared a Jihad of his own upon the staff of Heathrow’s new Terminal 5.
Why? Well, they’ve only gorn and lost his luggage, haven’t they. Nothing unusual about that then, except that contained in his luggage were all the recordings for his new album.

Sour-faced pop troll Kerry Katona has laid the boot into her ailing former bandmembers in Atomic Kitten. She’s been quoted as saying that “I made that frigging band, but they never bothered to invite me back.”
No offense to the deluded, unstable airhead, but I don’t remember her being the eye candy in the Kitten. All I remember is a particularly crappy spoken-word bit in Whole Again which they promptly edited out when she got knocked up with McFadden’s sprog and decided she could make better money out of selling her life to magazines. But whoopsie! The delicious but slightly less famous Delta Goodrem put paid to that dream…
Naturally, I have a problem with Katona’s stupid, self-publicising statement.

In an attempt to tempt those camera-shy aliens out in the open, boffins at NASA are planning to play the Beatles’ song, Across The Universe into deep space.
Now, y’all know I’m not a fan of the Fab Four. With that in mind, I’m thinking that extra-terrestrials might not be too fond of them either. They may think it’s an act of aggression. Did you think of that, NASA? Did you?
Anyway dear readers, NASA are making this attempt at pissing off the universe on the 4th February. We’re about to be considered noisy neighbours by aliens unknown. I wonder if they’ll slap an intergalactic ASBO on us?
To NASA: If you want to make it up to us, why not blast Paul McCartney into deep space? One more charity concert rendition of Let It Be and I might do it myself!
