Big fat celebrity pundit Perez Hilton has been taking swipes at Lily Allen lately. However, he’s obviously picked on the wrong gal, as our Lily has a direct line to the public via her MySpace page.
Lily blogged today about being upset by Perez’s latest blog post in which he claims she’s fallen out of favour at Capitol Records, and alleges that she smoked during her pregnancy and that her miscarriage was suspicious.
While she admits that she’s been partying and working hard recently, Lily claims much of what Hilton has written is completely made up and hurtful. She even goes so far as to point out the hypocrisy of Perez running anti-bullying campaigns on his blog as he paints the words “Has Been” over the top of a picture of her:

Wow. Just saw Lily Allen’s latest blog post saying that members of the illustrious paparazzi broke the rear window of her car.
She’s fairly vague on the details, but it seems that a pack pf paps were chasing her car and one of them broke the window. Presumably to get a rise out of the volatile pop star and get a few ‘angry’ photos to sell to Heat magazine and the tabloids.

I haven’t had much chance to comment on the music news during last week, but the most upsetting report was Lily Allen’s miscarriage.
Lily is one of those artists who’s so grounded you feel you actually know her. We discovered that the pregnancy was a surprise to her and boyfriend Ed Simons, but that they’d both overcome the shock and were looking forward to life as parents.
The miscarriage must have been shocking and upsetting for them, especially given Lily’s public profile. Without drawing it out, our thoughts are definitely with Lily and Ed.

In a classic case of pot calling kettle black, Booty Luv singer Nadia Shepherd has launched a bizarre attack on Lily Allen.
In this strange tirade, she acknowledges that Allen is a fine songwriter, but says “Sometimes you wonder why Lily says the things she says. Is it because she really feels that way or because she’s just trying to get a bit of attention? You can’t really tell what her motive is and that is what’s quite unattractive about her.”

Lily Allen continues to impress me with her attitude. She’s up the duff by her Chemical boyfriend, but she’s refusing to cash in like lesser celebrities by launching a range of maternity clothes for other pregnant LDN girls.
Her reasoning? Well, she admits that she’s a little young to be having children and recognises that her audience (or ‘demographic’ as she eloquently puts it) are mostly young girls.

Interesting news: Lily Allen has apparently bagged her own TV show on BBC Three.According to what I’m reading, the show will be heavily centered around Lily’s MySpace presence, with her online friends being involved in the show. Apparently, this’ll include well-known chart acts as well as unsigned bands.

Have you heard Lily Allen’s cover of The Pretenders classic Don’t Get Me Wrong? She did the cover as part of the Radio 1 40th Anniversary celebrations - where present day groups have been re-recording hits from each of the 40 years Radio 1 has been on the air.
Some of the covers have been fantastic, while others have been drill-your-eardrums-out abysmal. Lily’s version of Don’t Get Me Wrong is faultless however: chiming, upbeat and with her own distinct character on it.

Undeniably, Mark Ronson’s star is rising thanks to his latest album, Version and some pretty clever collaborations. This latest, featuring the irrepressible Lily Allen is another masterstroke.
Oh My God is a cover of an early Kaiser Chiefs single, and the video for Ronson’s version features a cameo appearance by the bemused looking band.
