KT Tunstall - Hold On - Single Review
Hold On starts off in a similar way to Tunstall’s previous hit Black Horse Under Cherry Tree - all strumming guitars and reverb-drenched vocals. Tunstall has quite an apocalyptic quality when she sings, and you sometimes get the feeling of foreboding that you might get from a Mississippi blues singer.
Before long though, the song becomes much more upbeat, with a hand-clap backing more prominent than any drums I can hear on the track.
