Poor old Jamie, he took a battering from musicOMH in their review of Standing In The Rain. To add insult to injury, they likened the poor guy to my all-time most loathed artist - James Blunt.
Nobody is that bad. And we loved their impromptu cover of Bleeding Love back in November.
If you’ve ever wondered what Leona Lewis’ Bleeding Love would sound like sung by James Blunt, then check out this video. The band is called Jamie Scott And The Town. They’re filmed doing an impromptu version of Bleeding Love in what we like to call ‘the acoustic style’.
It’s nice to hear a different take on a popular song, though in some respects it becomes a bit ‘everyballad’. Until the end that is, when they start doing the ‘bum-bum-bums’ and lose it to a fit of the giggles!
