Catfights and Spotlights is a great album but it doesn’t have any great singles on it. Girls was a pointless single as everyone knew the tune anyway. The album is rather like the second disc of a two disc album – Change being the first. For Sugababes fans it’s a great listen and there’s some great new material on it. They need the courage to stop releasing good album tracks that make bad singles and concentrate on making great albums.

awful effort, they play it where i work and all i can think of is boots christmas gifts when it comes on, irritating, but i guess it does work from a marketing perspective.

It sounds pretty lazy to me, very much an exercise in marketing. It’s a shame that Girls Aloud appear to have gone down the same route :(
