Panic At The Disco - New Album "Pretty. Odd.", Single And Tour

panic-at-the-disco

Panic At The Disco are preparing a major assault on our charts and eardrums with a new single and album release over the next month or so. They’ve announced the title of the new album as Pretty. Odd. which at least describes their hair. Only joking Emo kids!

Pretty. Odd. will be released on 25th March 2008. To whet your appetite, Panic will be releasing the first single from the album, Nine In The Afternoon on January 29.

Recorded in Las Vegas with additional work at Abbey Road studios, Pretty. Odd. should see a maturing of the band’s sound. Guitarist Ryan Ross says “We’ve grown up a lot in these past few years and the different types of music we’ve been into will show through.  We want to focus on the melody and what’s happening in the song rather than throwing a lot of distortion over everything.”

In other notable news, the band has dropped the exclamation mark from Panic! and are now simply Panic At The Disco. Well, that’s one less character to type…phew…

And finally, Panic have been selected as the headline act for the 8th Honda Civic Tour, which will start in April 2008. Looks like we could be hearing a lot from these guys in 2008.

It’s sad that they took out the !, I will always remember them that way, but I’m sure that they’re new album will rock! Maybe this just means that they’ve gotten better, and more mature. (If that’s a good thing.) I cannot wait until it’s released. I’m going to get it asap. I will always be a loyal fan to P!ATD, I mean PATD. I LOVE PANIC! AT THE DISCO, I MEAN PANIC AT THE DISCO!!!

doooooooood, i fucking love this band reguardless of the fact that they removed the “!” or not. and even though they have become hella over exposed. they are simply amazing and i fucking hate that word. all the stupid little scene kids use it WAY TOO MUCH. but thats honestly the only word to describe them. but they are probably the very first band that i ever put my ENTIRE heart into. i love the panic boys and will always be devoted. i am so excited for “pretty. odd.”. bravo bravo. i love you.

At The Disco…This is terrible…Oh well they still rock my socks! lol!!! I love the song nine in the afternoon! It may be random but it is the best song by them!!!

come on !! it cant be that bad .. can somebody tell me atleast the name of the music in the CD so i can download them !!i’m not ganna buy the CD and then find out it sucks !!

why is everyone so upset about them not having a stupid ! in their name?

i think it’s better that they don’t have it.
and anyway, it was only the emo/scene kids that called them Panic! at the disco.

their so called “fans” are upset about a frigging exclamation mark when they should be happy that they’ve made another album!

and thats all i have to say :)
