But it sounds like he went for the rehab relatively early on, so probably wasn't more than a month or so, that it seriously affected him. Apparently it's some sort of procedure that requires a LOT of treatment after the fact. Also I read something about the reason that he actually "checked in" somewhere, rather than just having regular visits, has something to do with a girlfriend (or maybe ex, by now?) who was a bit on the wild side, even for Tyler! If it's any consolation, they came back stronger than ever after their rehab stint in the 80's, so maybe this'll see Aerosmith back in their prime.
