Artists performing live on stage at the Wembley concert include the Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Bloc Party, Corinne Bailey Rae, Damien Rice, David Gray, Duran Duran, Foo Fighters, Genesis, James Blunt, John Legend, Keane, Madonna, Paolo Nutini, Razorlight, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Snow Patrol.
Additional performers will be announced at a future date.
As well as the huge London show, there will also be gigs taking place in Shanghai, Sydney, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Tokyo, the US and even Antartica.
The Mirror reports:
In all, more than 100 acts will be taking to the seven stages in a bid to highlight the need to act against global warming.
Announcing the details of the Wembley concert yesterday, Live Earth founder Kevin Wall said: “The line-up will ensure Live Earth brings together people from around the world to combat the climate crisis.
“It will not only span all seven continents but the musicians who have answered our call span multiple genres and generations, too.”
