Lionel Ritchie is hard at work on his new album, to be titled ‘Just Go’.

And in a bid to update his sound, he’s drafted in the creme de R&B songwriting talent, namely Ne-Yo and Akon to help write the tunes for his new long player.

Other contributors named for the new album are Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Stargate, Johnta Austin and the-Dream.

The lead single from ‘Just Go’ will be Good Morning, which certainly follows in Ritchie’s vein of songs that say Hello.

When an old hand like Ritchie releases a new album, people always look back to their classic material (I’m guilty of that one too). Perhaps this hook-up with two cutting edge songwriters will help Lionel break through to the new era successfully.
