Leona Lewis To Lose Number One Spot

Leona Lewis has held onto the UK number one single spot for seven weeks now with her single Bleeding Love, but seems sure to lose it this Sunday, if we believe what we read in the midweek chart.

This week, Katie Melula, who’s recorded vocals on Eva Cassidy’s version of the classic What A Wonderful World, has out sold the X Factor winner by 6700 copies so far.

With the X Factor winner due to release a single in time for next weeks chart, Katie’s victory will make a nice change!

    I’m past caring about No 1 singles but as long as this Xmas is not a Simon Cowell/X Factor manipulated event (again) then I’m somewhere between apathy and feeling there’s some justice in this world.
