I wanted to quickly review this tune. Despite – or because of? -the shrill distorted guitar line, I think Not Over Yet has the makings of an instant classic.

You know why? It’s a cover version. Chances are we’ve heard it before.

Still, that’s no reason to put a good song down, even if I’m slightly disappointed that they didn’t release an original tune!

I’m assured that the original tune was quite dancey, so at least Klaxons are punting a reinterpretation. And a good one at that. There’s that grating electronic/guitar line, the soaraway choruses and excellent drum and bass pushing the whole song forward.
