Ah Joss. Sometimes I love her, sometimes I mildly dislike her. She seemed to go through a diva period in the last year where she released no music, but complained a lot: about people commenting on her sudden American accent, about her British fans, and so on.

It’s just not in keeping with her hippy-style dyed hair and that 60’s vibe that’s splattered all over her website.

Anyway, Baby Baby Baby is Joss’s latest single. It’s a fairly light-hearted pop/soul affair featuring Miss Stone singing her little lungs out. Sometimes though, she sounds a little bit like she’s been possessed by the ghost of Anastacia (whatever happened to her by the way?).

Which is just my way of saying I like her voice on this one. Too much Joss can be hard on the ears, but a nice fresh single every now and again is nice. I certainly prefer it to reports of clumsy diva-esque behaviour anyway.

Check out the video, in which Joss flirts with her bass player a little bit. Oh, and can we get the blonde hair back, please?
