Possibly the biggest pitfall of being a world famous rocker like Slash is that no-one wants to talk about your current music. They just want the gossip on Guns N Roses, if he’s fighting with Axl and what he thinks of Chinese Democracy.

There’s a short interview with Slash over on 210sa.com where they tip him a couple of mandatory questions about Velvet Revolver, then launch straight into a grilling about GNR.

What makes Slash such a cool guy is the fact that he refuses to bad mouth Axl even after such a long time. OK, deep down, we all want to see a slanging match from the so-called “most dangerous band in the world”, but Slash thinks it would be nice to see the group reform for a one-off performance…

I don’t know whether the circumstances will permit us wanting to get together and play, but it would be a whole different spirit-of-the-moment thing. You never know what ends up happening over the next few years, how it develops.

He was talking there about the possibility of a GNR performance if they’re inducted into the Rock N Roll hall of fame in the next few years. It’d be nice to see them rip through some of the classics!
