I don’t normally comment on the salacious non-music news like singers having sprogs, but in the case of Christina Aguilera, I’ll make an exception. The reason? Well, knowing how the ladies love to scream during childbirth (except the Scientologist ones), I wondered if a diva like Aguilera would hit any high notes.

She’s famous for hitting the ‘C above high C’, so I couldn’t help wondering if she’d treat the kid to a showcase of her vocal range on the way out.

Anyway, Christina and her husband, Jordan Bratman are now the proud parents of a baby boy, who they’ve named Max Liron. The birth was on Friday 11th January at the Cedars-Sinai hospital.

So, congratulations to Mr and Mrs Aguilera on the birth of their child. Expect the celebrity mags to be clamouring for the first photo, and features on Christina loosing her baby weight in the next few weeks. It’s practically guaranteed.
