Doing a bit of browsing around the interweb this evening, I came across a video clip I’d seen on Glumbert months ago – this guy Andy McKee who’s an unsung Guitar God, plucking away in his own quiet corner of the web.

Andy’s instrumental style is fascinating to watch and listen to – he works the strings with both hands independently, while managing to use the guitar body for percussion at the same time. Here’s the original clip from Glumbert – prepare to be blown away:

I love watching this guy’s face as he plays – the mixture of concentration and pure enjoyment are totally infectious. If you like your guitar music, you owe it to yourself to check Andy McKee out.
